Epidermolysis bullosa (EB) is a very rare skin disease. The symptoms of EB manifest as blisters appearing on the hands, arms, face, feet, oral cavity, and groin, resembling burn blisters filled with fluid. These blisters on the skin primarily occur as a result of trauma, even the slightest injury can trigger the manifestation of this disease. Although there is no complete cure, there are treatments available for a comfortable life. However, these treatments require significant financial resources. The disease causes significant disabilities. Hands become immobilized, and they have difficulty swallowing food. They can live comfortably with special bandages and creams.
Due to the high cost of bandages and creams, families are unable to provide this treatment to their children. Society has been supporting these helpless patients for more than 5 years.
